Locust Bean Gum or Carob Bean Gum by GOVINDA NATUR - flavor-neutral, purely vegetable binding and thickening agent

You can use locust bean gum to bind sauces, soups, sweets, desserts, whipped cream or baked goods - especially low in sodium. Even the smallest amounts make a liquid creamy and thick. Ideal to replace flour, cornstarch or egg yolk and particularly economical. The neutral taste makes it ideal for both sweet and savory dishes.

Use:  1 g = 1/2 teaspoon = 1 serving of locust bean gum, sufficient for approx. 100 ml of sauce or cold liquid, 200 ml of soup or dishes that only need to be bound a little. It is completely soluble in hot water and forms jelly in cold water.
