Why are dates not so healthy?
Why do not we have products where dates would be the main ingredient?
Dates are a good natural substitute for industrial sugar, they have useful macronutrients, but:
? too high a GI (glycemic index), can reach 165 units — they are instantly digested, sugar quickly enters the bloodstream and after such a snack you immediately feel hungry;
? a very large II (insulin index), about 110 — insulin in large quantities quickly enters the bloodstream when using this product;
? high-calorie with a huge amount of carbohydrates in the composition;
? It is important always to remember the amount and time of food (no more than 30 grams per day and only before lunch), especially if you control the level of sugar in the blood.
