CHOCOLATE GROWS ON THE TREES
Did you know that chocolate grows on trees?
The cocoa beans are the basis of milk and dark chocolate. They are actually seeds from the fruit of the cacao tree, which primarily grows in tropical areas near the Equator. The seeds grow inside a pod-like fruit and are covered with a juicy white pulp.
To make chocolate, cacao beans have to be picked before being fermented, roasted, ground down, pressed, mixed with fat, sugar, emulsifiers, lecithins and turned into bars and other sweets. In the end, we get regular unhealthy chocolate with a lot of artificial flavors, unhealthy fats and sugars.
Or there is another way - healthy vegan raw chocolate without refined sugar, gluten and soy.
